It's Finally November!!

I can't believe it's November!! Christmas and Thanksgiving are my two most favorite holidays (Christmas being my ultimate first of course) so I can't wait!!! And yes I have begun to listen to Christmas music...DON'T JUDGE!! November also means only one month left in my first semester of my last year at Snow College!!! This semester has been quite rough so as you can imagine I can't wait for it to be over!!!

Catching Up on The Weekends!!

Two weeks ago was my fall break and I got to go home!!! My first night back home in Provo I went and spent the night with my bestest friend Xela!! That night we did some thrift shopping and went out to eat at Zupa's!! It was her first time to Zupa's, and let me tell you she loved it!! The next morning at 6:30 a.m. we woke up and went on a wonderful trip to the temple!! Later that day I got to go out to lunch at the Old Fashioned Spaghetti Factory with my other best friend Michaela Murdoch!! (sadly we did not get a picture) On Sunday my cousin Cody had his mission farewell! My grandparents came down from Washington and my cousin Tyler and his wife Camille announced that they were going to have a girl!! This last weekend I went home again! Friday night Xela and I went to my brother Jordan's senior night football game! Afterwards my brother Kyle, my cousin Elijah, Xela, and I all went to Lowe's Extreme Sports and had a blast!! Saturday Xela's Boyfriend Rob and their friend Brucie came down from Roosevelt and we all went Halloween costume shopping and went to the Provo mall and played Laser Tag at the new laser tag place at the mall!! Overall these last few weekends have been a blast!! Thank you everyone for making them so fun!!

A Weekend in The Middle of Nowhere

This weekend Sarah and I got to go visit our most favorite roommate and friend Xela (pronounced Shayla) in Duchesne. Our friend Cameron Wilkerson (Cam) had his mission farewell this Sunday so we made an adventure of it. Friday after classes Sarah and I packed into Hailee's car and headed off! On Friday night, Xela's singles ward in Roosevelt had a date night. So of course Xela set us up on blind dates with some of her friends there. Sarah was set up with Brucie, and I with Tadd. For the date night we went bowling in Fort Duchesne and then went to a bonfire in Bluebell. That night we spent the night at Xela's grandma's house. Saturday we went to get lunch at Al's Grocery store and then went back to Xela's. At her house we took her horse Prancer out, saddled him up, and took turns riding him. When it was my turn I about passed out, especially when I got off. That night we went to the Relief Society Broadcast with Xela's mom and then watched the movie Ephraim's Rescue at her grandma's. Sunday we went to Cam's farewell. After church we went to his house for a luncheon. After the luncheon we went with two of Xela's friends, Brucie and Colton, and through two old computers off of the mountain. We then went back to Cam's and hung out for quite a while. Overall it was a great weekend, and I sure do miss Duchesne even if it was in the middle of nowhere!!

Me riding Prancer. I couldn't really smile because I was freaking
out about falling off the horse because the saddle wasn't tight enough.

stand on the horse.

And The Adventure Begins....

This summer has been so exciting!! I spent the summer in Washington yet again working at my grandpa's ice cream parlor. It was a lot of fun. I got to work with old and new friends. I also got to work with my cousins Brady and Lindsey who both left on missions in August. This summer we also had a Brown family reunion in Washington. We spent the reunion on Anderson Island at our Grandpa's rental on the island. It was a lot of fun getting to spend time with all of my family. Sadly my uncle Randy, my uncle Steve, and my cousin Cody were not able to come. At the end of July I got to go to Minnesota and visit my dad's family who I haven't seen in almost 8 years!! It was a lot of fun getting to stay up late with my grandma and have long talks with her. I also loved getting to see my cousins and their kids. Some of their kids I hadn't even met yet!! In August I started my sophomore year at Snow College. I got a new apartment this year with 4 new roommates. My roommate Sarah and I were roommates last year as well as this year. It has been a lot of fun getting to know all of these girls. I love getting to spend time with them!! We have the funnest times!!
Melissa, Lindsey, and I thought it would be very comical to
model the hairnets at work instead of our usual paper hats.
I got to spend Mother's Day in Washington with these lovely ladies!
